At War with the Animus

I battled with the biggest, most cunning, and meanest man in the world for a year straight in a war within that transformed me and nearly killed me. This was a war with my repressed, buried, and now larger-than-life masculine aspects, which I let slip into the shadows so I could become the submissive sweet little girl I thought I needed to survive in the world I was born into.  These qualities returned later in life in the form of psychosis - an attack by a man who was able to terrorize me into the intelligence, discernment, and power I would need to become balanced and truly successful in this world. As Carl Jung says, "the trickster spirit, or evil animus will happily ruin your life if that's what it takes to end your hubris" or something like that - anyways, happy listening and be sure to visit me at AstralGamer.ca
